About Doctor

Dr Neha Chopra is a highly accomplished cardiologist with strong academic credentials and extensive clinical experience in invasive and non-invasive cardiology. She completed her DM in Cardiology from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, where she also earned her MD in Medicine, securing All India Rank 1 in the AIIMS MD entrance examination and INI-SS Cardiology entrance examination.

She has been trained at premier institutions including AIIMS New Delhi and Vardhman Mahavir Medical College & Safdarjung Hospital, and has extensive hands-on experience in managing complex cardiac patients across outpatient services, inpatient wards, and intensive care units.

Dr Chopra has independently performed over 200 coronary angiographies, more than 100 coronary angioplasties, many pacemaker implantations, cardiac catheterization studies and pericardiocenteses. She has also assisted many complex coronary and structural interventions. She is skilled in performing echocardiographies (including pediatric echocardiography), and interpreting Holter monitors, treadmill tests, and hemodynamic traces.

An active academician, Dr Chopra has authored multiple original research articles, narrative reviews, case reports, and book chapters in reputed national and international journals and textbooks. Her research interests include coronary artery disease, mechanical valve thrombosis, heart failure, arrhythmias, cardiac amyloidosis and critical care cardiology.

Dr Chopra has received several academic honors, including overall first position in DM Cardiology, multiple awards at national and international cardiology quizzes, and recognition for excellence in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education.

With a strong commitment to evidence-based medicine, clinical excellence, and teaching, Dr Neha Chopra continues to contribute actively to patient care, academic growth, and cardiology training at DMC&H.
