About Faculty
Dr. Sandeep Kaur is a Professor and Head of the Department of Community Health- Nursing at DMC&H College of Nursing. She has been associated with the institution since 2003 and brings over 26 years of teaching experience.
She completed her undergraduate studies at NINE, PGIMER, Chandigarh and obtained her Master’s degree from
She began her teaching career as a Nursing-Tutor at Dr. Mohan Kaur School of Nursing, Mullanpur, Ludhiana (2002-2003). After joining DMC&H College of Nursing as a Nursing-Tutor; She did her MSc (N) and she was promoted to Lecturer then to Associate Professor and then to Professor. Since August 2014, she has been serving in the capacity of Professor.
Additionally, she has contributed as a reviewer for one textbook and two Nursing Journals.
She supervised duties of students for National Pulse Polio Campaign. She conducted Cancer Survey under NRHM, Punjab.
Academic-Responsibilities: Her academic responsibilities include planning, implementing, and evaluating departmental activities; conducting teaching sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate programs; guiding postgraduate theses and projects; and providing clinical supervision to both undergraduate and postgraduate students.
She has also served as an inspector for BFUHS, Faridkot, Jammu University, Jammu. Member of Boards of Examination across various universities. She is a Nodal Officer of All India Survey of Higher Education (AISHE).She is also Hostel Coordinator. She is also nominated as member of Faculty of Nursing Science, by BFUHS, Faridkot.
Furthermore, she serves as an internal examiner for under/ postgraduate nursing examinations within the institution and as an external examiner for undergraduate and postgraduate nursing examinations in institutions across and outside the state, SKIMS, Srinagar, AKAL College of Nursing, Baru Sahib, Mullana college of nursing, MMU, Ambala.
She has also served as a Resource person /Chairperson for more than 18 National and International conferences/workshops. She has organized National Conference, various Workshops and Health Camps under the banner of DMC&Hospital.

Publications
She has contributed significantly to academic and research activities, with more than 8 publications in national and international journals.
Awards
She has presented over 10 papers at various conferences and has awarded for Best Poster Presentation at a National conference, She stood first in various Scientific Paper presentations.
