About Faculty
Ms. Sunita Rani is an Assistant Professor in Medical Surgical Nursing Department at DMC&H College of Nursing. She has been associated with the institution since 2016 and brings over 12.5 years of teaching experience. She completed her undergraduate studies at –Shri Guru RamDass College of Nursing,Hoshiarpur and obtained her Master’s degree from Same institute Surgical Nursing Department. She began her teaching career as Lecturer at - Shri Guru RamDass College of Nursing, Hoshiarpur Since 2013 Month, year, she has been serving in the capacity of Lecturer, then Nursing Tutor in DMCH in 2016 and promoted as Assistant Professor in 2019 has contributed significantly to academic and research activities, with more than 5 publications in national and international journals. She has presented over 4 papers at various conferences and has received recognition for Best paper/Poster Presentation at a national conference of Trained Nurses association in 2017 at Doraha . She has also served as a resource person for multiple conferences and has actively organized and participated in numerous workshops. She is a member of the Trained Nurses’ Association of India (TNAI) and the Nursing Research Society of India (NRSI) Additionally, she has contributed as a reviewer for 1 textbook. She has done ACLS /BLS training in 2018 and NCLEX under Newyork Board Of Nursing in 2021. Her academic responsibilities include planning, implementing, and evaluating departmental activities; conducting teaching sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate programs; guiding postgraduate theses and projects; and providing clinical supervision to both undergraduate and postgraduate students. She is a member of the Scruitinizing Committee in college and Nodal officer for Viksit Bharat Activities. Furthermore, she serves as an internal examiner for under/ postgraduate nursing examinations within the institution and as an external examiner for undergraduate and postgraduate nursing examinations in institutions across and outside the state (PGI, MM University, Ambala).
