About Faculty
Sumeet Jassal is an Assistant Professor at DMC&H College of Nursing. She has been associated with the institution since 2019. She completed her undergraduate studies at University College of Nursing, Faridkot in 2014. She began her teaching career as Clinical instructor inNational College of General Nursing and Midwifery, Barnala in 2014and obtained her Master’s degree from University College of Nursing, Faridkot in 2017. After postgraduation, she worked in College of Nursing, Adesh University, Bathinda as nursing tutor. In 2019, she joined DMCH College of Nursingand brings over total10 years of teaching experience. She has been contributed significantly to clinical, academic and research activities.

She is a TNAI (Trained Nurses Association of India) member and has also got the membership for PNNFI (Pediatric & Neonatal Nurses Forum of India).
She is a member of Board of examination in Nursing in MMU, Mullana, Ambala and Adesh University, Bathinda. Additionally, she has been Paper setter in several universities.Also, she has been doing observer duties allotted by BFUHS, Faridkot and PNRC, Mohali. Her academic responsibilities include planning, implementing, and evaluating departmental activities; conducting teaching sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate programs; guiding postgraduate thesis and projects; and providing clinical supervision to both undergraduate and postgraduate students.Furthermore, she serves as an internal examiner for under and postgraduate nursing examinations within the institution and as an external examiner for undergraduate and postgraduate nursing examinations in institutions across and outside the state.
Publications
She has approx 5 publications in national and international journals. She has presented 2 papers at different conferences, out of which she has won first prize in one of them. She has actively organized and participated in numerous workshops and international conferences.She has reviewed many research articles through international journals.
