About Faculty
Mrs. Sonika Thakur is a Nursing Tutor in Medical Surgical Nursing Department at DMC&H College of Nursing. She has been associated with the institution since 2021 and brings over 4 years and 7 months of teaching experience. She completed her undergraduate studies at Guru Dronacharya College of Nursing, Yol cant , Dharamshala H.P. and obtained her Master’s degree from Netaji Subhash College of Nursing, Palampur., H.P. She began her teaching career as an Lecturer at Phoenix the Global Institute of Nursing Jalandhar, Punjab. Since February Month, 2021 year, she has been serving in the capacity of Lecturer , then nursing tutor in DMC&H in 18th October 2021 has contributed significantly to academic and research activities. She has also actively organized and participated in numerous workshops. She is a member of the Trained Nurses’ Association of India (TNAI). Her academic responsibilities include planning, implementing, and evaluating departmental activities; conducting teaching sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate programs; guiding postgraduate thesis and projects; and providing clinical supervision to both undergraduate and postgraduate students.
