Dr. Kapil Sharma is a Associate Professorand Head of the Department of M.Sc. (Nurse Practitioner in Critical Care Nursing)Department at DMC&H College of Nursing. He has been associated with the institution since 2016 and brings over 18 years of teaching experience.He completed his undergraduate studies at HKES, College of Nursing, (MR Medical college) Gulbarga, Karnataka, and obtained his Master’s degree from SCS, College of Nursing, Mangalore, Karnataka. He began his teaching career as an Assistant Professor at DMC&H, College of Nursing, Ludhiana. Since September, 2016, he has been serving in the capacity of -------.Dr. Kapil Sharma has contributed significantly to academic and research activities, with more than 37 publications in national and international journals. He has presented over 18 papers at various conferences and has received recognition for Best paper/Poster Presentation at a national conference06. He has also served as a resource person for multiple conferences and has actively organized and participated in numerous workshops.He is a member of the Trained Nurses’ Association of India (TNAI), the Nursing Research Society of India (NRSI) and Medical-Surgical Nursing Society of India. Additionally, He has contributed as a reviewer for 05 textbooks.His academic responsibilities include planning, implementing, and evaluating departmental activities; conducting teaching sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate programs; guiding postgraduate theses and projects; and providing clinical supervision to both undergraduate and postgraduate students. He has also served as an inspector for BFUHS, a member of Boards of Examination across various universities, and a member of the Board of Nursing sciences Committees. Furthermore, he serves as an internal examiner for under/ postgraduate nursing examinations within the institution and as an external examiner for undergraduate and postgraduate nursing examinations in institutions across and outside the state i.e. Haryana, Uttrakhand, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan and Gujrat etc.
