About Faculty
Jyotsna kumara is a (Assistant Professor) in Paediatric (child health) Nursingat DMC&H College of Nursing. She has been associated with the institution since (2023) and brings over 6years 7 months of teaching experience.She completed her undergraduate studies at Mata Saraswati Institute Of Nursing , Birmi, Ludhiana and obtained her Master’s degree from SGL College of Nursing Jalandhar.She began her teaching career as anNursing tutor in Guru Teg Bahadur Institute of Nursing College Ludhiana for 2 year and 3 months from 2019 to 2021.Working as anAssistant Professor in GNCON Dhahan Kaleran 1 year 10 months from 2022 to 2023. Now working as an Assistant Professor in DMC&H Ludhiana from 2023 to till date, she has been serving in the capacity of Assistant Professor and has contributed significantly to academic and research activities, with 3 publications in national and international journals. She has also served as a resource person for multiple conferences and has actively organized and participated in numerous workshops.She is a member of the Trained Nurses’ Association of India (TNAI)). Her academic responsibilities include planning, implementing, and evaluating departmental activities; conducting teaching sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate programs; guiding postgraduate theses and projects; and providing clinical supervision to both undergraduate and postgraduate students. She has also served as an invigilator for BFUHS Exam.
