Prof. Dr. A. Jayasudha, Principal, DMC&H College of Nursing, Ludhiana specialized in Obstetrics & Gynecological Nursing has completed Ph.D. Nursing in the year 2011. Having 32 years of Teaching/ Clinical / Administrative experience in the field of Nursing in various cadres from Clinical Instructor, Charge Nurse to Professor & Principal both in India and Abroad. Had been handling subjects like Research, OBG Nursing, Nursing Management, Nursing Education, Foundation of Nursing, Critical care Nursing, Emergency & Critical care Nursing, Medical Surgical Nursing I & II. Her contribution to the profession in the means of participating, organizing conference, seminar, workshop at regional, state, national and international forum is exemplary. Thus far she has organized, participated & presented papers in more than 150 conferences both Nationally & Internationally, Resource person in 80 conferences, conducted more than 40 seminars for staff nurses of Govt. hospitals and P.S.G. Hospitals & Corporation Maternity Centre staffs. She has visited Mansoura University, Egypt as a resource person with her expertise and AIMST University, Malaysia, NUS Singapore. Initiated collaboration between PSG College of Nursing and the Haute Ecole de la Sante La Source & Haute Ecole De Sante Vaud (HESAV) and the Board of Higher Education (DGES), Lausanne, Switzerland, Bule Hora University, Bule Hora, Ethiopia, Akademi Kaperwatan, Fatmawati, Polri, Yaspen and Manggala Husada, Jakarta, Indonesia and Northern Illinois University, USA.

Served as an examination panel member for B.Sc. (N)., M.Sc.(N)., and Ph.D.(N)., with the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai, Sri Ramachandra Medical University, Porur, Chennai, Saveetha Deemed University, Chennai, NITTE University, Mangalore, Vinayaka Missions Deemed University, Salem, Kerala University of Health Sciences and Annamalai University. Involved with Inspection panel from the Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi, Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council, Chennai and the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai. She is one of the resource faculty for LEAP (Leadership excellence and Professionalism) workshop, Expert Committee Member, Research Advisory Board (RAB) Member, Revised B.Sc. (N) Syllabus: Curriculum Implementation Committee Member, Executive Editor for Journal of Nursing Education and Administration published by the Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council, Chennai and served as Chairperson – Nursing Education Committee in TNAI, Tamilnadu State Branch from 2022 – 2026 and Team Member in conducting SALT (Student Advocacy & Leadership Training) program for student Nurses in Tamil Nadu organized by TNAI, Tamil Nadu State. Elected as the member of Governing Council, Board of Studies and Senate at the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai and Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) member of Manipal College of Nursing, Manipal Academy of Higher Education. Invited as Chief Guest for Lamp lighting ceremony more than 25 colleges and for Graduation ceremony. Recently been invited as the TEDx Speaker.
