About Faculty
Ms.Savita is AssociateProfessor of Obstetrics & GynaecologicalNursing at DMC&H College of Nursing. She has been associated with the institution since 2005 and brings over 21 years of teaching experience.
She completed her undergraduate &Master’s degree at esteemed and renowned institution from CMC&H College of Nursing, Ludhiana.
She began her teaching career as a Nursing Tutor inDMC&H College of Nursing, from 2005 After Nursing Tutor she is promoted as Assistant Professor in2013 and there-after as Associate Professor in 2025 Ms. Savita has contributed significantly to academic and research activities, with more than 8 publications in national and international journals. She has presented papers and poster presentations at various conferences. She has actively organized and participated in numerous workshops, Webinars and seminars.
She is a member of the Trained Nurses’ Association of India (TNAI) and Society of Midwives (SOMI). Additionally, She has contributor as Inspector, Observer, Invigilator, External Examiner by BFUHS and paper setter by Moullana University Haryana.Furthermore she has been trainer of GFATM programme.
Her academic responsibilities include planning, implementing, and evaluating departmental activities; conducting teaching sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate programs,guiding graduate and postgraduate thesis and projects; and providing clinical supervision to both undergraduate and postgraduate students nurses of DMC&H.
