The launch event was graced by Bishav Mohan, Chief Cardiology & Coordinator, HDHI along with Dr Satbir Singh Gosal, Vice Chancellor; Rishi Pal Singh, Registrar, PAU and other university officers. The video, approximately three minutes in duration, is a product of the two institutions’ collaborative efforts to spread awareness on CPR.
Highlighting the importance of CPR, Dr Bishav Mohan explained that it was a critical emergency procedure performed when the heart stops beating. He emphasised that timely and correctly performed CPR could significantly enhance the chances of survival in cardiac arrest cases. “Our goal is not only to provide medical care, but also to empower the community with life-saving knowledge. Initiatives like this video can instill confidence in handling medical emergencies,” he remarked.
