Annual DMC Alumni Meet 2024 held

Annual DMC Alumni Meet 2024 ‘Lamhe…the nostalgic imprints’ was held on December 25, 2024 at DMC College Campus, which was which was attended by more than 200 alumni who come from different parts of the country and  from abroad.  The event was held for the Diamond jubilee celebration for first Batch 1964, Golden Jubilee Batch 1974 and Silver Jubilee Batch 1999. 

The day began with a felicitation program  & hospital and college campus round.

Secretary of DMCH Managing Society Sh Bipin Gupta was the chief guest for the event. Other dignitaries who were present on the occasion were Treasurer Sh Mukesh Kumar, Principal Dr G S Wander, Dean Academics Dr Sandeep Kaushal and Medical Supdts. Dr Sandeep Sharma, Dr Ashwani K Chaudhary and Dr Bishav Mohan Chief Cardiologist, Hero DMC Heart Institute. Dr Puneet A. Pooni (Chairperson, DMC Alumni Committee ), Dr Shibba T. Chhabra (Convener, DMC Alumni Committee), Dr Suman Puri (Coordinator, DMC Alumni Committee) and Dr  Dinesh Jain (Secretary, DMC Alumni Committee) also graced the occasion.

To honor the academic excellence and inspire the current medical students a Wall of Fame – ‘DMC&H Best Graduates’ which displays the names of best graduates was also inaugurated during the event.

Alongside this the first edition of magazine ‘Alumni Times’ was launched. This magazine highlights the achievement and success stories to keep all the alumni connected.

In his inaugural address, Secretary DMCH Managing Society Sh Bipin Gupta said DMC&H celebrates it's Diamond Jubilee Batch for the first time. The DMCH Alumni Committee seeks initiatives as Alumni Mentorship Program and extended Core Committee with participation of Alumni across the globe, added Sh. Gupta

Principal, Dr G S Wander welcomed all the dignitaries and appreciated the efforts of DMCH Alumni Committee for conducting this programme.

The highlight of the meet was the Cultural Extravaganza which was held late in the evening in Hotel Maharaja Regency.

All the members of DMC Alumni committee expressed gratitude to all of the alumni for attending and contributing to the momentous day.
