DMC&H observes Communal Harmony Week & Flag Day
The communal harmony campaign week and flag day are observed from 19th -25th November annually. This year the day was celebrated in DMC College Campus under auspices of National Foundation for Communal Harmony (NFCH), by the Department of Physiology. This year theme for the week is ‘Communal Harmony, National Integration and Fraternity’
Various activities including solo songs , group songs , slogan writing and poster making contests were also organized. The day was celebrated by all the students and staff with full vigour and zeal.
The chief dignitary for the program was Sh Mukesh Verma, Treasurer DMC&H Managing Society. Other dignitaries who graced the program were Principal, Dr G S Wander, Dean Academics Dr Sandeep Kaushal, faculty members from various departments.
Sh Mukesh Verma, Treasurer DMC&H Managing Society, in his address, lauded the efforts of the Department of Physiology in marking this day a memorable one for the students and faculty as well.
Dr G S Wander, Principal, stressed on need for promoting communal harmony in the country. In the medical profession it is important to deliver health care services that meet the cultural, social and religious needs of patients and their families.
Dr Vidushi Gupta, Professor & Head Department of Physiology introduced the significance of communal harmony day and sensitized the audience about the need of harmony in the society for national integration and development.
The function was kick started by the faculty member from Department of Physiology including Dr Hem Lata, (Professor) Dr Garima Sharma ( Professors ) and Dr Swati Aggarwal ( Assistant professor)
Vote of thanks was proposed by Dr Joginder Kaur Sidhu, Professor Department of Physiology.
The winners of different competitions were awarded with the prizes by the dignitaries present on the occasion.

Slogan competition
1st prize bagged by Mr Manas (MBBS Batch 2024), 2nd prize won by Sarabjeet Kaur, Palak Sharma and Salma (Paramedical batch 2023), 3rd Prize bagged by Manvir, Kashish and Mehar, (Paramedical batch 2023)
Poster making competition
Kashish and Mehar were 1st (Paramedical batch 2023), Manas from MBBS Batch 2024 was 2nd , 3rd prize won by Ashwika Goel, Tanvi Sinha, Rushil Garg (MBBS Batch 2024) and Consolation prize was awarded to Shiddat preet ,Shaipali (MBBS Batch 2024) Back To Home Page
