DMC&H Cancer Care Centre and American Oncology Institute (AOI) observed National Cancer Survivors’ Day on 3rd June,2023
According to Dr Sandeep Puri, Principal, DMC&H, the DMC&H Cancer Centre has been a success as a project and a service to patients since its beginning. Furthermore, a large portion of the population cannot afford treatment, thus our national level committee, which includes Mr Sanjeev Arora, has a goal to make cancer treatment affordable to everyone who needs it.
Sh Sanjeev Arora, MP & Vice President, DMC&H Managing Society said that cancer has many misconceptions and patients expect the worst if they are diagnosed, but it is our responsibility to dispel the myths and provide counselling alongside treatment so that the journey to recovery is holistic and complete.
During the event a cultural show was also organized with performances of Bhangra, Gidda and Cultural dance.
Patients shared their journey of their fight with Cancer and the role of DMC&H Cancer Care centre and its doctors.
There was also a comedy show presented by Mr Mandeep Singh which was a great end to this event. Back To Home Page
