DMCH inaugurated new state of the art Cataract surgery equipment “Centurion Phako Machine ''. This machine would add to the present arsenal of ultra modern equipment of the Department of Ophthalmology at DMCH.  Present at the occasion were Sh Prem Kumar Gupta, Secretary DMCH Managing Society, Dr Ashwani Chaudhary and Dr Sandeep Sharma, Medical Suptds. , Dr Sumeet Chopra, Head, Dept of Opthalamology and other staff of the department.                                                                                               

Sh Prem Kumar Gupta, Secretary, DMCH inaugurated the new equipment and stated that it will make cataract surgery safer, more productive, and more successful. This is another step in the direction of the cutting-edge, top-notch eye care that DMCH has been offering.

According to Dr. Sumeet Chopra, Professor and Head of the Department of Ophthalmology, DMCH is outfitted with a number of top-notch pieces of technology, including the Zeiss Digital Fundus Flourescein Angiography, Zeiss Optical Coherence Tomography, Oretli Faros Machine, Zeiss Lumera Microscope, and Pentacam. Complex eye procedures of every kind, including keratoplasty, oculoplasty, squint surgeries, retinal detachment, ROP management, and vitreoretinal surgeries for diabetic eye illnesses, are routinely carried out in the hospital.
