NUMCON 2022 held

 5^th National Undergraduate Medical Conference (NUMCON) held at DMCH (17th to 18th 2022)

A two day National Undergraduate Medical Conference (NUMCON) held at Dayanand Medical College & Hospital.

The event was formally inaugurated by  Secretary DMCH Managing Society Sh Prem Kumar Gupta  along with Principal Dr Sandeep Puri, Vice Principal Dr G S Wander, Dean Academics Dr Sandeep Kaushal, Medical Supdts.Dr Ashwani K Chaudhary, Dr Sandeep Sharma, Dr Bishav Mohan and other faculty members of DMC& H were also present on the occasion.

In his message, Secretary DMCH Managing Society appreciated the efforts of students to conduct this workshop

In his message, Principal Dr Sandeep Puri said that NUMCON provides a platform to the young under graduate students  where they can  sharpen and enhance their clinical skills and explore about medical profession.

Vice Principal Dr G S Wander, acknowledged the exemplary efforts and dedication  of the students to organise this conference. This conference will help to magnify the medical abilities of the students highlighted Dr Wander.

Dean Academics, Dr Sandeep Kaushal said that actively participation in such conference will help the students to know better about the various aspects of medical profession.

Dr Gurparvesh Goraya- Head organizer and Dr Pooja Prasad, Dr Mehak Kumari- Joint Secretaries  (MBBS batch 2017) informed the conference had hands-on-training session on basic life support, Paper presentation, Panel discussions, Clinical Case Presentation. Guest lecture on ‘Substance abuse and de-addiction Delivered by  Dr Nimesh Desai from IHBAS Hospital (Institute of Human Behaviour and Allied Sciences) Delhi. Panel discussion on the theme of ‘Mental Health’ done by Commissioner of Police of Police Dr Kaustubh Sharma, Dr Ranjive Mahajan Professor & Head Department of Psychiatry, Mrs. Bhupinder Gogia, Principal Sat Paul Mittal School Ludhiana.

 The conference got concluded with valedictory and prize distribution function. More than 550 people participated in  and attended various activities held in this conference.
