About Faculty
Ms.Anureet is a AssistantProfessor of Psychiatry Mental Health Nursing at DMC&H College of Nursing. She has been associated with the institution since 2005 and brings over 21 years of teaching experience.
She completed her undergraduate studies at very esteemed and renowned institution Guru Nanak College Of Nursing, Dhahan Kaleran, SBS Nagar and obtained her Master’s degree from DMC&H, CON, LUDHIANA with Distinction.
She began her teaching career as a Nursing Tutor inGuru Nanak College Of Nursing, DhahanKaleran, SBS Nagar (2002-2004) and later in ( January 2005) she has Joined as a Nursing Tutor inDMC&H College of Nursing Ludhiana. After Nursing Tutor she is promoted as Assistant Professor in 2005.Ms.Anureet has contributed significantly to academic and research activities, with more than 8 publications in national and international journals. She has presented papers and poster presntations at various conferences. She has actively organized and participated in numerous workshops, Webinars and seminars.

She is a member of the Trained Nurses’ Association of India (TNAI) and the Indian Society of Psychiatric Nurses of India (ISPN). Additionally, she has contributed as a reviewer for two Mental Health Nursing textbooks and a Book of Forensic Nursing and Indian Laws.

Her academic responsibilities include planning, implementing, and evaluating departmental activities; conducting teaching sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate programs,guiding graduate and postgraduate thesis and projects; and providing clinical supervision to both undergraduate and postgraduate students. She is also selected as volunteer for Covid-19 Psychosocial Counselling by ISPN. She is the master trainer on “Promotion of Mental Health of Health care Providers” By NIMHANS ,Bangaluru and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare of India. She has also trained staff nurses of DMC&H on promotion of mental health.She served as an observer for BFUHS examination.
Furthermore, she serves as an internal examiner for graduate nursing examinations within the institution.She likes to write and publish various articles in different newspapers. Her area of interest is Substance Abuse and child psychiatry.
