About Faculty
Her super-specialty is Critical Care Nursing in M.Sc(N) She has been associated with the institution since 2016. She has completed her undergraduate studies at GNC Govt. Rajindra Medical College, Patiala and obtained her Master's degree from DMC&H College of Nursing. She is Gold-medalist in the University (BFUHS) in M.Sc.(N) and the topmost rank holder in Govt. Nursing College in BSc(N).She has worked as Clinical Instructor in GTB Institute of Nursing Education, Ludhiana. After her post graduation, she has joined DMCH College of Nursing as Nursing Tutor and later promoted to Assistant Professor. Thus brings total 12.5 years of experience. She has been contributing significantly to clinical, academic and research activities. She has many publications in national and international journals. She has presented many papers and research posters in various conferences and has received many awards/positions for the Best Paper Presentations/ Best Poster Presentations including at a national conference of Trained Nurses Association and at PGIMER too. She has actively organized and participated in numerous workshop, conferences, panel discussion and FDPs. She has actively organized and participated in numerous workshops. Additionally; she has been exam evaluator in several universities. She has invigilated the state level examinations too. She is a member of the Trained Nurses' Association of India (TNAI) and the Nursing Research Society of India (NRSI). Additionally, she has contributed as a reviewer/author for textbook.
Her academic responsibilities include planning, implementing, and evaluating departmental activities; conducting teaching sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate programs; guiding postgraduate thesis and graduate research projects; and providing clinical supervision to both undergraduate and postgraduate students. She is a member of the Orbit Committee, the institutional newsletter in the college and research & statistics committee. Furthermore, she serves as an examiner for undergraduate and postgraduate in the nursing examinations
