PROFESSOR

·         Both MBBS (1990) and MD Medicine (1993) from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. Continued to work in AIIMS; then selected as a faculty member in Department of Medicine, Dayanand Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana in November 1998.

·         Special Area of Academic Interest: Medical Education

·         Editorial Board of many reputed indexed journals

·   2009: Associate Editor, First Monograph on Adult Immunization in India under aegis of Association of Physicians of India

·         Former Visitor and Special Invitee, Punjab Medical Council, Mohali

·    Past Member of numerous National Task Forces formulating Guidelines on various disease ailments and Operational Research Committees constituted under aegis of Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India and other national and international public health foundations including World health Organization.

·       2008: Organizing Secretary, Platinum Jubilee Year Celebration of National Regulatory Council for Medical Colleges - Medical Council of India (later reconstituted as National Medical Commission) symposium-cum-workshop on “Trends in Medical Education: Role of Information Technology”, Dayanand Medical College & Hospital, Ludhiana

·        2004: Organizing Secretary, Educational Science Technology Workshop for Teachers of Health Professionals, Dayanand Medical College & Hospital, Ludhiana

·    Past Member, Faculty of Medical Sciences as well as Board of Studies in Medical Sciences (Postgraduate and Undergraduate), Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot for many terms.

·        Contributed numerous publications in indexed international and national journals including original articles, editorials, review articles, commentaries and update articles, chapters in international and national textbooks and recent advances books.
