PROFESSOR
Dr G.S. Brar did his MBBS and M.S. Surgery from Dayanand Medical College, Ludhiana in years 1990 and 1993 respectively. He did M.Ch. Surgical Oncology from Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology, Bengaluru in 2000. Subsequently he worked as Consultant Onco-Surgery at Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi and SGRD Amritsar. He joined as Assistant Professor at DMCH in 2005. He is trained in advanced cancer surgeries of head and neck, breast, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, sarcomas, thoracic and peritoneal surface malignancies.
He is a life member of Indian Association of Surgical Oncology (IASO), Indian Society of Oncology (ISO) and Association of Surgeons of India (ASI). He has numerous national and international publications.
Presently, he is the Professor and Head of Department of Surgical Oncology, DMCH Cancer Care Centre, Ludhiana.
