PROFESSOR
Dr Mahesh Satija did his MBBS from Bangalore Medical College, Bangalore, MD from Govt Medical College, Patiala and presently working as Professor in the department of community medicine, Dayanand Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana. He has attended various National / Regional Conferences/workshops and has presented various papers at National / Regional conferences. He has received 3 special trainings at National level. He is the life member of IAPSM, IPHA,BPNI, Health population and perspectives by NIHFW.
He has also been Ex Executive member North Zone IAPSM. He is also co investigator for ICMR Task force study on consumption pattern of carbonated soft drinks of Indian population at different times of the year. He has also been senior investigator for baseline evaluation of IMNCI in distt Kaithal, Haryana and appointed independent monitor on behalf of WHO for monitoring various NID and SNID rounds of Pulse Polio immunization on various occasions. He has special interest in Maternal and child Health. |
