PROFESSOR
Dr. Hem Lata did her MD Physiology from DMCH in 2001 followed by DNB Physiology in 2002. She is a member of National Academy of Medical Sciences India (MNAMS), life member of APPI and Central executive member of APPI, Ludhiana branch. She has received formal training in medical education in "National teachers training course" at PGI, Chandigarh and has been awarded the fellowship of CMCL-FAIMER (Foundation for advancement of international medical education and research) in medical education. She is resource faculty for MCI medical education workshops and CMCL-FAIMER fellowship programmes. She has been ranked as outstanding teacher in student feedback since its inception in DMC. She has many national and international publications to her credit and presented papers in various CMEs, symposia and conferences. She is member of editorial board and reviewer of reputed journals. She is actively involved in various activities in institute as a member of convocation committee, hospital library committee, admission committee, counselling & orientation committee, medical eduation unit, medical record task force etc.
