Dr. Sandeep Kaushal, MD, Professor (Pharmacology); Consultant, Epilepsy Clinic; Principal Investigator, Clinical Pharmacology Unit and Protocol writer (clinical trials) is working in neuropharmacology & psychopharmacology, pharmacovigilance, drug utilization studies, toxicological and experimental studies. He is an illustrious DMCH alumnus of trained in epileptology (Venice 2002); Adverse Drug reaction monitoring and HPLC under Indian National Science Academy Fellowship (AIIMS 2001, 2006) and Computers (Diploma, Office Automation-2000). He has attended many international & national workshops, conferences and symposia and received a number of International and national fellowships and awards including Dr. B. C. Roy National Award-Research project (2002) and Associateship for training in Pharmacogenomics (Ministry of Science & Technology- 2008). He has more than 50 (including 23 international) publications; 20 (including 10 international) presentations; 25 guest lectures and 30 e-lectures.
He is peer reviewer for various international and national journals and active member of international and national academic bodies. He has been associated with medical education, student welfare, animal and human ethics through membership of committees & councils at BFUHS and DMCH, and conducting workshops and teaching programmes. He is WHO monitor for Polio eradication programme for Ludhiana district. He has guided several post graduates and undergraduate students. |
