                                                                                          World Brain Day observed

On ‘World Brain Day’ a role play was performed by B.Sc Nursing students in OPD Block of the hospital. The role play was focused on ‘epilepsy’ issue and the characters in the role play very well projected the stigma attached to patients suffering from epilepsy. In the play, a girl with ‘epilepsy’ is shown engaged to a boy for marriage. On knowing that the girl is suffering from epilepsy, the family of boy broke their relationship on this issue. On the other hand, girl’s parents also think it as a stigma to reveal the disease of their daughter to boy’s family.    

A poster completion was also held, in which the participants had put on display very impressive posters to highlight various issues concerning with epilepsy. The winners of the poster competition were also awarded prizes by Principal Dr Sandeep Puri.
