Annual Alumni Meet-2014 held     21/12/2014

Dayanand Medical College & Hospital is celebrateding 50 years of medical education this year. As a part of the year long celebrations, ‘Golden Jubilee Alumni Meet- 2014’ was held  at Hotel Maharaja Regency. 

Principal Dr Sandeep Puri extended warm welcome to all the alumni present at the venue. He said that the event provides a platform for alumni to catch up with their long lost friends and remember their good old days. Secretary of DMCH Managing 

Society-Sh Prem Kumar Gupta shared the vision for DMCH and emphasized on the key role played by Alumni contributing towards development of their alma mater. 

Dr Ashwani Chaudhary  (Chairman, DMC Alumni Committee) said the alumni of DMCH have made outstanding contributions in their respective specialties. In his address, Dr Sandeep Sharma (Convenor, DMC Alumni Committee) emphasized on the building up of   good alumni relationship, which benefits alumni as well as the institution. 

During the meet, the golden jubilee MBBS batch of 1964 and silver jubilee MBBS batch of 1989 were felicitated by the dignitaries present on the occasion. The meet was attended by over a 300 alumni with their families. The ‘facebook page’ for 

DMCH alumni was also launched to connect all alumni of DMCH through social networking site. 

The meet got concluded with foot tapping music and song numbers by alumni of 1964 and 1989 batches, who enthralled the audience with their energetic dance performances.The MBBS batches of 1964 and 1989 were brimming with enthusiasm as they met their batchmates after a gap of many years. 

Dr Rajinder Mittal, Secretary, DMC Alumni Committee proposed a vote of thanks to all those present on the occasion and remarked that with the collective effort of al, lthe meet turned out to be a splendid success
