International Nurses Day celebrated 15th May,2014
College of Nursing, DMCH celebrated International Nurses Day on 15th May to commemorate Golden Jubilee year of the institution. In line with the occasion, various workshops were organized on the theme “Nurse-A force for change. A Vital Resource for Health”. Various competitions for students (Badminton, Photography, Rangoli, Flower arrangement, Western and Folk dance) were also organized throughout the week.
Sh Prem Kumar Gupta, Secretary DMCH Managing society was the Chief Guest. The programme started with the welcome dance by B.Sc. nursing students.
Dr. (Mrs.) Jasbir Kaur Principal DMCH College of Nursing delivered the welcome address. Ms Shivani, Nursing tutor gave introduction of DMCH CON and
Ms. Tara threw light on the profile of Florence Nightingale.
The Chief Guest unfolded the theme by raising the curtain. Birthday of Florence Nightingale was celebrated by cake cutting. A role play was performed by B.Sc. Nursing
students. Dr. Daljit Singh, Principal, DMCH motivated and encouraged the students by delivering an inspirational speech on the occasion. Lamp lighting and Oath taking by passing out students of B.Sc. Nursing were held. |
