 ‘ ECTOPIA- 2014' held

Two day annual cultural festival ECTOPIA- 2014 was held in Dumra Auditiriumon.Undergraduate medical students of various batches participate in various talent hunt competitions.The function was formally inaugurated by Secretary of DMCH Managing Society Sh Prem Kumar Gupta.

 Undergraduate medical students of  2009  batch were declared overall winners for their excellent performances in various cultural activities of the two-day colourful cultural festival 'Ectopia-2014' Batch 2010 was declared second and Batch 2012 was third. The festival got concluded  with glittering prize distribution ceremony along with exhilarating performances by the participants. 

The winners of different competitions were honoured by the Guests of Honour including Sh. Vice President of DMCH Managing Society-Sh Gian Chand Dhawan, Sh Balraj, Member, Managing Society, Principal Dr. Daljit Singh, Vice Principal Dr Sandeep Puri, Dean Academics Dr Rajoo Singh Chhina and Additional  Medical Suptd. Dr Sandeep Sharma.

                                        In his address, Vice Principal. & Chairperson of DMCH Cultural Committee- Dr Sandeep Puri appreciated the enthusiasm of the students with which they took part in various contests and lauded the effort of members of DMCH Cultural Committee including Dr Navjot Bajwa, Dr Dinesh Jain, Dr Deepinder Chhina, Dr Suman Puri, Dr Anu Sharma, Dr Garima Matta and Dr Omesh Goyal  and student co-ordinators Vibhushit Kaul, Harleen Kaur and Sameer Mittu  for their whole-hearted co-operation.

                                                   Vibhushit Kaul of batch 2009 was declared 'Mr. Ectopia' and Jasgun Aulakh of batch 2010 got the title of of Ms. Ectopia for their award-winning performances in various competitions  

A special fashion show saw several aspiring doctors walking down the ramp. The major crowd-puller of the evening was the "group dance contest" in which the medical students left the audience spellbound with their electrifying performance based on foot-tapping folk and bollywood numbers.
