1st Annual convocation ceremony held at DMC&H College of Nursing

DMC&H College of Nursing hosted a momentous 1st Annual convocation ceremony-2024 for graduates (batch 2019) and post graduates (2021) at its college campus. This prestigious event has great significance for the students, making a milestone day that would forever be engraved in their memories as they embarked on their journey as Registered Nurses.
The Convocation ceremony was graced by distinguished Chief Guest Mr. Sandeep Rishi (IAS) Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Ludhiana along with Dr. Hardeep Kaur, Principal, University College of Nursing Faridkot as University Nominee, Shri Bipin Gupta, Secretary DMC&H managing society, Mr Mukesh Kumar, Treasurer DMC&H Managing Society, Dr. Gurpreet Singh Wander, Principal DMC&H, Dr. Sandeep Kaushal, Dean Academics, Dr. Ashwani K Chaudhary, Medical Superintendent, Mrs. Sunita Deb, Nursing Superintendent, DNS Mr. Anit Joseph and Mr. Ajay Arora from Hero Corporate were also graced the occasion.
Addressing on the occasion, Secretary DMC&H Managing Society, Shri Bipin Gupta wished the graduates and post graduates a successful career ahead. Dr. Triza Jiwan, Principal presented the College annual report elaborating the achievements and future plans. Graduates recited the Nurses Pledge led by Prof. Mrs. Nidhi Sagar, Vice Principal College of Nursing.
Dr. Triza Jiwan, Principal and Dr. Hardeep kaur, University Nominee conferred degrees to graduates and post graduates. Jasjeet Kaur bagged gold medal for the Best B.Sc Nursing Intern, Yashmeen Kaur for the best Clinical Student Nurse and Sehajpreet Kaur for the Best Community Health Student Nurse. Students of DMC&H College of Nursing secured ranks in the university Inderpreet kaur of batch (2021) hold Ist rank, Manjot kaur of batch (2022) Sixth rank and Harshangeet kaur of batch (2022) Ninth rank and were awarded with medals. Medals were given to distinctions holders of B.Sc (2019), M.Sc and NPCC Nursing batch (2021). Shri Bipin Gupta, awarded a cheque of Rs. 50,000 each for academic excellence to Yashmeen Kaur for standing Ist, Tabasum Nabi Dar and Sehajpreet Kaur for standing second of batch (2019).
In his address, Chief Guest inspired the graduates and post graduates to achieve good in their professional life as they had achieved in their academics in college and provide best care to the patients both physical and mental. He also said that people who skilled in their profession will achieve success in their career. The vote of thanks was proposed by Prof. Mrs. Sandeep Kaur. |
