DMC&H organised an oration for the students in DMC&H College Campus today. This oration was delivered by Dr Kaustubh Sharma Inspector General Police, Ludhiana Range on  "PUBLIC HEALTH MODEL ON PREVENTING SUBSTANCE ABUSE". This event was organised in continuum of the “Buddy Program '' run by Govt of Punjab.

Dr Kaustubh Sharma described the effects that different types of drugs have on the brain of an individual and how the government is trying to tackle the menace of drug abuse. He highlighted the role that individuals can play in exercising their judgment regarding drug use. Community participation can have far reaching results.
