MoU signed between DMCH Ludhiana and IIT Ropar
Dayanand Medical College & Hospital and IIT Ropar has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for Cooperation and promotion of research in health care technologies.
This MoU will be beneficial to explore clinical trials and research in the field of health care and both of the institute will work together for the various research programs with both clinical and engineering aspects.
Professor Rajeev Ahuja, Director IIT Ropar, Dr G S Wander Vice Principal & Chairman R & D , DMCH, Dr Bishav Mohan Medical Supdt. DMCH, Mr Umesh Gupta, Chief Financial Officer DMCH, Dr Ashish Sahani, Assistant Professor Department of Biomedical Engineering IIT Ropar, Dr. Pushpendra P. Singh, Associate Dean, R&D and other Staff members of IIT were also present on the occasion.
In his message Secretary DMCH Managing Society Sh Prem Kumar Gupta said that it is great pleasure for both institutes and this collaboration will be beneficial for the general public also as DMCH has always been in the forefront to provide the best Medical Care facilities to the general public.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr G S Wander vice Principal and Chairman R and D DMC&H, the purpose of this MoU is to implement cooperative and collaborative activities, which will address multidisciplinary Medical, scientific and technological problems and solutions for considerable social benefits.
In his message, Dr Bishav Mohan Professor Medical Supdt. DMCH said that this MoU will identify the potential areas of research to explore cooperation and synergy for evidence-based intervention in the field of medical research and further application of these information in the welfare of the general public. |
