DMCH Sports Committee today organized "46th Annual Sports Meet (SMASH-2012)". The meet began with an impressive march past took by the faculty and undergraduate students of MBBS batches 2007,2008, 2009,2010 and 2011 and the students of College of Nursing.

The chief guest on the occasion was Vice President of DMCH Managing Society- Sh Gian Chand Dhawan, who declared the meet open and lauded the efforts of organizing members of DMC Sports Committee in organizing the meet. Those present during the inaugural ceremony were Vice-President Sh Amrit Nagpal, Secretary Sh Prem Kumar Gupta, Joint Secretary Sh Rajesh Sood, Principal Dr. Daljit Singh, Vice-Principal Dr Jagdeep Whig, Dean Academics Dr Rajoo Singh Chhina and Medical Suptds. Dr Sandeep Puri, Dr Ashwani Chaudhary and Dr BS Shah.  Principal Dr Daljit Singh extended his warmest congratulations to the participants of various sports events. 
                
  In his address, Chairperson of DMCH Sports Committee-Dr. Rajoo Singh Chhina emphasized that sports meet evokes a lot of passion and fervour among the students and contribute for there all round development. He advised the students to play with a sportsman spirit and able to accept the defeat graciously.
The welcome address was given by Dr Ashwani Chaudhary (Convenor, DMC Sports Committee). Dr P S Nain (Coordinator) led an oath-taking ceremony in which Puneet Singla (Organizing Secretary, Sports Committee) took an oath with all other students. Dr. Vineet Galhotra (Secretary-DMC Sports Committee), proposed a vote of thanks to the chief guest and faculty present on the occasion. Dr Rajoo Singh’s exciting live commentory enthralled the audience and also motivated the audience to cheer the partcipants and winners with lot of vigour.
