Tree plantation drive organized at Rural Health Centre Pohir: Each one, Plant one

Keeping the spirit to save our ‘Mother Earth’ and to create a healthy environment for the patients , a tree plantation drive was conducted at DMCH Rural Health Centre, Pohir.

The team of 20 medicos planted sampling of various fruit trees at the premises of RHC, Pohir. Dr Bishav Mohan Medical Supdt. and Professor Department of Cardiology Hero DMC Heart Institute, Dr Rajinder Mittal Professor and Head Department of Plastic Surgery, Dr Surinder Pal Singh Associate Professor Department of Community Medicine and other senior faculty members of DMCH were the part of this team who conducted this drive.

In his message, Secretary DMCH Managing Society, Sh Prem Kumar Gupta appreciated the effort of the team for being environmentally conscious and initiated a tree plantation drive at RHC Pohir.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Surinder Pal Singh and Dr R K Mittal urged everyone to plant more trees and said that we all should be responsible citizens to wisely use our natural resources and give their contribution to protect our environment. ‘The purpose of this drive is to promote environmental awareness and to spread awareness regarding conserving nature and to create a green atmosphere’ highlighted Dr Singh and Dr Mittal.
