ECTOPIA-2022 “Andromeda”

Three-day cultural festival ‘ECTOPIA 2022’ began on 12th,May 2022 with an impressive inaugural ceremony by Secretary of DMCH Managing Society-Sh Prem Kumar Gupta. Also present on the occasion were Principal Dr Sandeep Puri, Dean Academics Dr Sandeep Kaushal, Medical Supdt. Dr Ashwani Chaudhary and other faculty members of DMCH cultural committee.

Secretary Sh Prem Kumar Gupta, in his message, said that Managing Society of DMCH encourages the students to be an all rounder- to excel in academics as well as events like “Andromeda” which develop their overall personality.

Principal Dr Sandeep Puri (who is also Chairperson of DMCH Cultural Committee) said that ‘ECTOPIA’ festival is personally very close to his heart and with every passing year, it is presented in a new form and on different theme, with more exciting and thrilling performances.   

Dr Dinesh Jain (Secretary, DMCH Cultural Committee) and Dr Shibba Takkar (Member of DMCH Cultural Committee) extended warm congratulations to all the participants and audience to enjoy this three-day grand festival with full enthusiasm and excitement. Five different MBBS Batches from year 2017 to2021 will be participating in the event. The theme of ‘ECTOPIA 2022’ this year is ‘Andromeda’.

Prize distribution ceremony for athletic meet was organized. Prizes were distributed for the category of Relay, Tug of war, Short put, 100m race, 200m race, 400m race, bench press, table tennis, volleyball, tennis and badminton.

Prizes were given by Secretary Sh Prem Kumar Gupta, Principal Dr Sandeep Puri, Dean Academics Dr Sandeep Kaushal and Secretary DMCH Cultural Committee Dr Dinesh Jain. Best sportsperson was awarded to Avi Sharma of batch 2017(men) and Pooja of batch 2017(women).

Various events like t-shirt slogan writing, hair and makeup, face painting, mask art, best out of waste, pot painting and pc gaming were organized.
