Management of Dayanand Medical College and Hospital is pleased to announce a series of ‘Special Joint Replacement Camps’ starting from 23rd July, 2017 onwards and will be held on every Sunday from 10 am to 1 pm in Ortho OPD of the hospital.
In his address, Secretary of DMCH Managing Society Sh Prem Kumar Gupta said that DMCH has always been actively involved in providing quality health care to the people of the region. The department of Orthopaedics at DMCH has come forward with very affordable joint replacement packages (including imported high-quality implants and medicines) for persons suffering from joint disorders who are not able to bear the cost of joint replacement surgery.
Sh Prem Kumar Gupta said that quality health care should be available to all sections of the society and this initiative is a step in this direction. It was further stated that in these ‘Special Joint Replacement Camps’, services including consultation, x-rays and screening tests would be done free of cost. For the requirement of poor and needy, DMCH has hugely subsidized the cost of joint replacement surgery and is offering state-of-art health care to the patients suffering from end stage arthritis.
The cost of single joint replacement will be Rs.1,25,000/- and if a patient wants to get both knees replaced at the same time, then the patient will be charged Rs.1 lac more for the second knee. This facility will be available on ‘first come first serve’ basis for 100 patients who get themselves registered till 31st August.
