Annual DMCH Alumni Meet held 25/12/2016
Annual DMCH Alumni Meet was held in Hotel Maharaja Regency, where all the pass out students of different MBBS and MD batches gather under one roof. It was a moment of fun, frolic and emotional nostalgia for all of them as they met their old batch mates and teachers after a long time. During the meet, students of golden jubilee batch of 1966 and silver jubilee batch of 1991 were felicitated by the former faculty members and principals of the institution.
Principal Dr Sandeep Puri extended warm welcome to all those present on the occasion and assured the alumni that DMCH, as an institution, will always be there to support their alumni incase of any genuine need and welcome their new ideas and comments, which will help in fostering good alumni relations with the institution.
Dr Ashwani Chadhary (Chairman, DMC Alumni Committee) expressed his joy on the enthusiasm of old students of DMCH to make themselves available for this Annual Alumni Meet. Around 300 alumni from country as well as abroad, participated in the meet, said Dr Ashwani Chaudhary.
Former Principal Dr Daljit Singh and Former Vice-Principal Dr Jagdeep Whig, who were also present on the occasion, cherished meeting old alumni of DMCH and felicitated them with momentos during the meet
Secretary of DMC Alumni Committee-Dr Rajinder Mittal proposed a vote of thanks to all those present on the occasion and acknowledged the whole-hearted effort of Dr ML Gupta (Batch Co-ordinator of 1966 Batch) and Dr Raman Mittal (Batch Co-ordinator of 1991 Batch) to co-ordinate with their batchmates and make them available for this special occasion.
A day before alumni meet, old students also visited the newly-constructed college campus which has all the facilities for ultramodern class rooms, libraries, lecture theatres and aesthetically designed auditoriums.
Overseas students who visited include Dr Gurpreet Singh Sodhi from Australia, Dr Shabnam and Dr Jasmit Kaur Dhaliwal from USA and Dr Pragti Grover from Dubai
