DMCH students bagged top positions in MBBS Examinations
End of year 2015 brought good news to students of DMCH, who bagged tops slots in MBBS (Final-Part 2 examination) conducted by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot. Out of around 1,031 students who appeared in MBBS (Final-Part 2) examination, Simrat Kaur and Shubhangi Gupta got first and third position in university examination respectively.
Principal Dr Sandeep Puri and Dean Academics Dr Rajoo Singh Chhina congratulated the students and their parents on their meritorious performance. They exhorted them to rise further in their careers and hold medical profession in high esteem with dint of hard work, dedication and perseverance.
While expressing their views, medicos Simrat Kaur and Shubhangi Gupta felt elated and thanked their parents and teachers for this wonderful accomplishment. They acknowledged credit of their success to their faculty members, who also strived hard to see their students performing well in their studies.
Dr Simrat Kaur, daugher of Dr Jagjeet Singh and Surinder Kaur from Bhatinda said it as a school-going girl, it was her dream to be in the medicine profession and after crossing this very first step of successfully clearing MBBS examination, she feels learning is a lifelong process and she will continue pursuing knowledge of her respective field. Dr Shubhangi Gupta, daughter of Dr BK Gupta and Dr Ranjana Gupta from Sonepat said that successfully clearing of MBBS examination is a start of our journey in the field of medicine.
