Convocation 2019


                                                                              Annual Convocation-2019                      4th May,2019

Annual Convocation was held in Dumra Auditorium of DMCH, where 42 students of MBBS Batch 2013 were awarded degrees and prizes. The chief guest, on the occasion, was Mr Binay K Jha, Principal Commissioner of Income Tax, NWR, Chandigarh.

Before the beginning of convocation proceedings, the chief guest was introduced  to the eminent faculty members of DMCH in academic procession.

Vice-Principal Dr GS Wander introduced the chief guest to the audience and informed them about various aspects of his multifaceted personality. Besides being a decorated IRS officer, Mr Binay K Jha has been instrumental in initiating effective tax in the region, said Dr Wander. 

President of DMCH Managing Society-Sh Sunil Kant Munjal extended warm welcome to all those present on the occasion. In his message, Sh Munjal motivated the students to excel in their chosen field and always keep their mind open in acquiring the new innovations in the field of medicine.  

 Secretary of DMCH Managing Society-Sh Prem Kumar Gupta said today, DMCH is considered as one of the best private medical colleges in the country and pass out students should consider it as a privilege to be an alumni of such reputed medical institution. 

Principal Dr Sandeep Puri read out the annual report of the college and highlighted the achievements and progress made by the esteemed faculty and various departments in the last one year. In his message to the outgoing students, Dr Puri advised the fresh graduates to have passion for their noble profession and pursue it with utmost dedication and dignity.

Dean Academics Dr Rajoo Singh Chhina administered the Hippocratic Oath to the fresh graduates before presenting them their degrees.

The chief guest- Mr Binay K Jha congratulated the graduating students. In his address, the chief guest said that doctors are considered next to God and it is the utmost responsibility of all those entering the medical profession to uphold the trust and confidence of the patients, who seek treatment from them. He urged the students to maintain the highest standards of ethics and integrity at every stage. 'I am sure that all the students of DMCH, Ludhiana will carry on the legacy of this prestigious institute and contribute towards building a healthy India,' Mr Jha added.

The gold medal for the best graduate was presented to Dr Ravpreet Pal Kaur  and the silver medal to Dr Vivek Mittal.  The chief guest awarded 70 prizes and 19 medals to the students of various batches who had excelled in various subjects.
