I did my M.B.B.S. from Government Medical College, Jammu, M.S.(Surgery) from PGIMER, Chandigarh, Certification as Transplant surgeon ; 3 year, post M.S, from transplant unit ,PGIMER, Chandigarh and subsequently received FICS (Fellow International College of Surgeons) FACS (Fellow American College of Surgeons) and FRCS ( Fellow Royal College of Surgeons) Glssgow, UK. Fellowship from Royal Liverpool University Hospital, U.K, Involved in kidney transplant from last 20 years, and has done more than 1100 kidney transplants , associated procedures Donor nephrectomy(open/ Laparoscopic ), Pts. requiring preemptive transplant, 1st , 2nd and 3rd transplant.
Vascular access procedures like AV shunts, Fistula, Graft placement and CAPD catheter placement. My special interest in Transplant in prev. failed grafts, paired donor exchange (Swap) transplant and Deceased donor transplant. |
